Meeting people online can be enjoyable, but no platform can guarantee the identity, intentions or behaviour of another person. This policy explains important steps Pickle Date members should take to reduce risk when communicating and meeting.

1. Protect your personal information

• Do not share your home address, passwords, banking details, identity numbers or other highly sensitive information with someone you have just met.
• Be careful about sharing your workplace, daily routine or real-time location.
• Use Pickle Date's on-platform communication features while you are getting to know someone, where available.

2. Never send money

Do not send money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, banking credentials or financial account access to someone you met through Pickle Date. Be especially cautious if a person claims to have an emergency, asks you to receive money for them, requests investments or pressures you to act quickly.

3. Look out for warning signs

• They refuse reasonable video or voice verification.
• Their stories frequently change or do not make sense.
• They quickly pressure you to move communication off-platform.
• They ask for money, financial help, investments or confidential information.
• They use threats, coercion, manipulation or sexual pressure.
• They send suspicious links or ask you to install software.

4. Meeting in person

• Meet in a busy public place for your first meetings.
• Tell a trusted friend or family member where you are going and who you are meeting.
• Arrange your own transport so you can leave independently.
• Keep your phone charged and accessible.
• Avoid becoming impaired to the point that you cannot make clear decisions or leave safely.
• If anything feels unsafe, leave. You do not owe anyone an explanation for ending a meeting.

5. Padel and tennis meet-ups

If you are meeting specifically to play padel or tennis, choose an established court or club during normal operating hours. Where possible, book the venue yourself or confirm the booking directly with the venue. Avoid changing the meeting to an isolated private location at the last minute.

6. Consent and respectful conduct

Consent must be voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time. A match, message, date, prior relationship or previous consent does not create an obligation to continue communication, physical contact or sexual activity.

7. Reporting and blocking

If a member behaves suspiciously, abusively or fraudulently, use available block or report tools and contact info@Pickle Date.com. Save relevant evidence such as usernames, dates and screenshots where it is safe to do so.

8. Emergencies

If you believe you or another person is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or law-enforcement authority. Pickle Date is not an emergency service.

9. Our moderation approach

Where technically and legally possible, Pickle Date may review reports, restrict accounts, remove content, preserve relevant records or cooperate with lawful investigations. We do not guarantee that every report can be verified or that every harmful act can be prevented.

10. Under-18s

Pickle Date is intended for adults aged 18 and older. If you believe an underage person is using the service, report the account promptly.
